St Croix is known for scuba diving but its historical and geographical wonders should not be missed. Shoreline Scuba will provide you with a land tour one of the following: 1 tank dive, snorkeling tour or Discover Scuba (no experience needed). Shoreline Scuba can customize a tour for you of St Croix. Our tour guides will point out interesting facts about the island while driving to your destination.

Christiansted is located on the north coast of St Croix. You may want to explore the historical fort and town of Christiansted and the shops. You can walk the boardwalk enjoying the beautiful harbor with sailboats and seaplanes.

St Croix Tidal Pools are located on the northwest coast. You can explore nature with a hike to St Croix Tidal Pools. The Tidal Pools make for a relaxing swim in calm water. The Tidal Pools where you will see fish, urchins and even shrimp. This moderate hike will take 30-45 minutes each way. You will hike through tropical forest, climb to an open grassy bluff with incredible views, and then drop down to a “rumbling beach” that hides the tidal pools.

St. George Village Botanical Garden of St. Croix is located on a sixteen acre site just off the Queen Mary Highway. The botanical collections, including over 1500 native and exotic species and varieties, are established in and around the restored buildings and stabilized ruins of a 19th century Danish sugar cane plantation and partially overlap an Amerindian settlement which dates back almost 2,000 years.

Sandy Point is one of Shoreline Scuba favor beach for BEACH! It is one of the largest stretches of sandy beach in the Caribbean. It is just gorgeous but very limited shad. Sandy Point is only open on weekends Sept-April due to nesting leatherback turtles. They’re lucky and they're so cute. During this time, though, groups meet to sit at night and watch for the hatchlings. This is a great experience. The water has a drop off and gets very deep very quick. Sandy Point has also been the location for commercials and films.

St. Croix is home to the Divi Carina Casino and Beach Resort located on the secluded eastern shore of the island. Recently nominated by Caribbean Travel and Life Magazine as one of the Caribbean's best large hotels, the Divi Carina Bay offers a Caribbean island charm with a casino. Divi Carina Bay is also home to the US Virgin Island's first casino, with unlimited nightlife and world-class gaming.

Whim Plantation makes history comes alive as you walk among the original early 18th century plantation buildings on the 12 acres of Whim Museum. The stately great house welcomes you with gracious guides waiting to tell you the stories of the house and plantation life. The fully restored windmill and sugar factory ruins are open for you to explore. You can see sugar cane growing nearby in one of the plantation gardens. The grounds are graced with tropical flowers, plants and trees.

An exciting trip into the past awaits you when visiting the historic Cruzan Rum Distillery, located in the heart of the island. (St. Croix USVI) See how rum is made and experience the history involved in this old craft. Watch "coopers" at work prefabricating barrels as they have for centuries and see the old windmills used for power before electricity was available. When the tour is done, you can sample a bit of St. Croix USVI from our gift shop. Duty free Cruzan Rum, our famous Cruzan Rum Cakes, caps and t-shirts make great gifts and mementos of your trip.

The Mahogany road winds its way through St. Croix's rainforest. On this route, Shoreline Scuba will take you pass St. Croix Leap, where artists and craftsman create works of art and functional objects out of Mahogany wood. You will also pass the Montpellier Domino Club, home of the famous non-alcohol beer drinking pigs!

Point Udall is the easternmost point of United States. You can explore the area and experience the unique drier landscape compared to the western rainforest area. The stunning view of Buck Island and the surrounding cliffs makes this a great tour stop for photography.
